Vice Chair Hart made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Board approve the Harmony 23 Modification, based on the findings of fact on page 10 of the staff report, including the referenced condition on page 11 of the staff report. Member Carpenter seconded the motion. Vote: 5:0.
Staff recommends approval of Harmony 23 Modification of Standard, #MOD160001, with the condition that a development plan shall incorporate a substantial naturalistic landscape habitat area at the northeastern corner of the site, generally and approximately corresponding to the flat lowland and wetland area between Strauss Cabin Road and the Boxelder Ditch. This open space shall include the Harmony Road frontage and wrap the corner; and be of a size and design to complement the existing open space landscape on the north side of Harmony Road, to implement City concepts for the Harmony Corridor gateway into the City.
