Member Sass made a motion that the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Commission approve the requested modification of standard to Land Use Code Section 3.5.2(D)(1) to allow the orientation of building 2 as described in the agenda materials, finding the modification would not be detrimental to the public good and the plan as submitted will promote the general purpose of the standard for which the modification is requested equally well or better than would a plan that complies with the standard because the orientation of building 2 is more compatible with the adjacent homes while still providing the necessary pedestrian access. This decision is based on the agenda materials, information and materials presented during the work session and this hearing, and the Commission discussion on this item. Further, this Commission hereby adopts information, analysis, findings of fact, and conclusions regarding this modification of standard contained in the staff report included in the agenda materials for this hearing. Member Stackhouse seconded the motion. The motion was adopted 7:0.
Member Sass made a motion that the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Commission approve the Flats and Hansen Farm Project Development Plan #220004 with the following condition: along the Timberline frontage of building C, there shall be enhanced articulation of the building façade and landscaping to further the intent of Section 3.5.1(C). The Commission finds that the Project Development Plan complies with all applicable Land Use Code requirements. This decision is based on the agenda materials, information and materials presented during the work session and this hearing, and the Commission discussion on this item. Further, this Commission hereby adopts information, analysis, findings of fact, and conclusions regarding this PDP contained in the staff report included in the agenda materials for this hearing.
